Veeam Backup: Daily backup & replications creation and configuration & troubleshooting skills.

KVM hypervisor skill knowledge-based.

Linux troubleshoot level skill: Mandatory

Primary area of expertise should be Linux skills & Citrix level :   Extensive experience with VMware & OVM skills

Roles responsibilities mandatory:

• Build and Operational responsibilities on ESXi and Windows.
  • VCenter and ESXi Upgradation from 6.7 to 7.0 & above
• Build and Operational responsibilities on ESXi and Windows.
  • Installing and Configuring ESXi 6.5.0, ESXi 6.7.0 , ESXi 7.0 & above
  • Creating and Managing Virtual Machines, and installing VMware tools.
  • Managing VMware vCenter server Administration.
  • Accessing the host by using VMware Putty, vSphere client, and Web Access.
  • Configuring VMware clustering like HA and DRS and Managing Virtual Machines.
  • Creating resources pool & Taking Snapshot.
  • Creating Virtual Machines in VCenter with the help of Golden Templates and ISO
  • Configuring data store to ESX server using SCSI, iSCSI, Vmfs, and Nfs.
  • Working on Migrations like VMotion, SVmotion, and cold migration.
  • Moving VM’s from one LUN to another LUN using Storage V-Motion
  • Configure Virtual Network in ESXi server by creating vSwitches.
  • Creation of port groups like Virtual Machine & VMkernel.
• Troubleshooting and Deployment of Virtual machine
• Patching on Esxi host by Using Update Manager.
•  Upgrading Esxi host from present version to updated version via ILO and Update Manager.
•  Upgrading firmware whenever required.
•  Hardware replacements by coordinating with vendors for part replacement.
•  Performing daily health checks and taking necessary actions.

Installing and Configuring XEN Hypervisor            

Installing & Troubleshooting VMs over XEN Hypervisor 

Working with XEN Pools and Clusters     

Disk detach from one server to adding to another server & Adding to snaplun to standalone

and adding new lun in Citrix xencenter 

Stale disks identifications and deletion knowledge in xen             

Resource data pulling in xencenter         

NIC bonding creation on xen host and nic swapping        

Multipath checks in xencenter hosts      

Knowledge of VDI error troubleshooting issues.
